Day 1 COCHIN |
Depart
from Tourist Reception Centre, KTDC at
1100 HRS. Check in to your hotel, be at
leisure and get ready at 1500 HRS for
your sightseeing trip to Fort Cochin,
Spice Markets, Antique Shopping, Jewish
Synagogue and Chinese Fishing nets. Enjoy
the sights and sounds of this beautiful
and bustling city. Back to the hotel for
overnight stay. |
Day 2 MUNNAR |
After
breakfast proceed to Munnar. Check in
to the resort. At 1530 HRS, trip to Pothamedu
for an excellent view of the tea, coffee
and cardamom plantations in Munnar. Here
it is ideal for trekking and long mountain
walks. Back to the resort for overnight
stay. |
Day 3 MUNNAR |
Proceed
to Mattupetty after breakfast at 0900
HRS to visit the Indo-Swiss live stock
project and Mattupetty lake and dam. Enjoy
boating in the lake and view mountains
and landscapes from afar. Return to the
resort for lunch. By 1600 HRS depart for
a short trip of Munnar town and TATA society
shop. Back to the resort for overnight
stay. |
Day 4 PERIYAR
|
Departure
to Periyar at 0900 HRS after breakfast.
Check in to the resort. Get ready at 1600
HRS for a visit to the spice plantations
and cardamom hills. Back to the resort
for overnight stay. |
Day 5 PERIYAR |
After
breakfast get ready at 0900 HRS for the
sightseeing tour by motorboat to watch
wildlife. This is the only sanctuary in
India where you can have the unique experience
of viewing wildlife at close quarters
from the safety of a boat on the lake.
Back to the resort for overnight stay. |
Day
6 KUMARAKOM |
Proceed
to Kumarakom at 0900 HRS after breakfast.
A picturesque, clean village, Kumarakom
is a tiny hamlet on the banks of a lagoon
formed by the Vembanad lake. Check in
to the resort. Enjoy the sunset cruise
at 1700 HRS in the evening. Back to the
resort for overnight stay. |
Day
7 KOVALAM |
Depart
to Kovalam at 0930 HRS after breakfast.
Check into your hotel, be at leisure.
Visit lighthouse and the beach. Back to
the resort for overnight stay. |
Day
8 KOVALAM |
After
breakfast at 0900 HRS visit Hawa beach
famous for its endless stretches of sea
shore and silvery sands it provides the
ideal atmosphere to relax amidst the sun,
sand and the cool waters. New Year special
programs at the hotel. Overnight stay
at the hotel. |
Day
9 DEPARTURE |
After
breakfast proceed to Cochin at 1000 HRS.
Arrive Cochin, tour ends at Tourist Reception
Centre, KTDC. Journey back home with sweet
memories and pictures of your dream holiday
